The opening shot starts with one of the hikers in Normandy (France) walking up to a bunker, overlooking the coast near a bunker.

This could be the grand opening shot.

We will record this with our drone camera which will lift up from the hiker towards the sea;

The shot of the hiker (now) will make a transition to D-Day (then) in the background.

• This grand opening is powerful and shows where the hike is all about (catching attention);
• Followed by the map with route (London – Berlin) that will be the background during the video;
• Visual effects starting with the first key location (Normandy Invasion, preparations in the UK: London / Portsmouth);
• Followed by the other key locations, ending at Berlin (see our flow on the website with some examples);
• To tell the story we would like to record some testimonials/quotes (soundbites) in different languages or English accents;

Each key location starts with a historical image or video shot with an effect to this place in 2020.

From this historic image we want to make a similar shot with one of the persons appearing in both images.

The 6-8 hikers will appear in these different locations.

At the end of the promotional video the 6-8 hikers come together in one shot with the map in the background;

Greenscreen studio

Not only to reduce costs (travelling, stays, crew and cast) but also to make our technical effects possible by computer modulation, we will record the 6-8 people in a greenscreen studio in the Netherlands in one day after editing the video versions (backgrounds). This makes it possible to fit in all recordings in the right perspective and color.
